As I was cruising through an exchange about automated phone systems and the horrors of them, someone posed this poignant question...

When was the last time a real dead human answered the phone?

Now, that sounds like a great writing prompt! Heck, you could almost use it as the first line of your story...

I knew I was in trouble when a dead man answered the phone.
